Job Description
YODHA CONSTRUCTION LIMITED is engaged in residential and commercial construction projects across Auckland. The company specialises in delivering high-quality structural and finishing carpentry work, ensuring compliance with New Zealand building standards and client specifications. We are seeking qualified carpenters to join a well-established team delivering high-quality work.
Key Duties
Read and follow basic construction drawings and instructions
Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as timber, plywood, and wallboard
Assist in building wall frames, ceilings, floors, and simple structures
Install doors, windows, and basic fittings like hinges and handles
Carry out repairs and replace damaged wooden parts
Use hand tools and power tools safely
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Skills and Requirements
Basic knowledge of carpentry and construction work
Ability to use tools and follow instructions
Good attention to detail
Physically fit and able to work on-site
Reliable and able to work in a team
Experience and Qualifications
At least 1–2 years of relevant carpentry or construction experience, or
Any relevant trade qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
Health & Safety
Follow all site safety requirements in line with WorkSafe New Zealand
Wear PPE and follow supervisor instructions at all times
