The Carpenter will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood.
Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is essential.
Familiarity with installation techniques for various materials.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
