Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.

Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and metal framing.

Construct walls, floors, roofs, and other framing structures according to specifications.

Ensure accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with building codes.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.

Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project timelines.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential or commercial framing.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.

Skilled in using hand and power tools.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in varying weather conditions.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is an asset.

Farm background or experience is considered an asset.
