Big Instore are a retail display agency with offices in Cambridgeshire, London & New York. We work with leading global sports brands offering Point of Purchase Displays, Shop-in-Shops & Fit-Outs.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Carpenter at Big instore in the Cambridgeshire based office. The Carpenter will be responsible for planning, constructing and installing fixtures according to project requirements. The successful candidate will be proficient working on their own or as part of our experienced team.
The role will required great communications skills. The successful candidate will be involved in planning their own installation schedule & liaising directly with customers to plan / survey different sites.
You'll need a UK driving license. The role will be split between working onsite, and working away with some overnight stays required.
Qualifications
• Proficient in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
• Level 2 NVQ in carpentry
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in framing, finishing, and custom woodworking
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
