FRAMING CARPENTER is looking to hire a carpenter who can start working as soon as possible. Further job details are as under: - Job Title - Carpenter Location - Calgary, AB Wages - $28.10/ Hour Vacancy - 1 Employment Groups - Youth, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada Terms of Employment - Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours / week Start Date - As soon as possible Employment Conditions - Shift, Flexible Hours Overview Languages - -English Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience -3 years to less than 5 years Responsibilities -Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites Survey building locations and levels Supervise other workers Estimate costs and materials Additional information Personal suitability- Accurate Judgement Reliability Team player How to apply By email: [email protected]
