Carpenter

Isteni Construction, a leading construction company in Bristol, is seeking an ambitious and fully qualified Carpenter to join our dynamic team. As a Carpenter, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and contribute to the success of our organisation. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a recognised carpentry qualification, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude towards their craft. The successful candidate will work closely with a small team under the guidance of a project manager, taking ownership of tasks from day one.

Responsibilities:

· Take accurate measurements and prepare the work site for carpentry projects.

· Create detailed drawings and plans for cabinetry, framing, and other construction projects.

· Design and install fitted wooden shelves, cabinets, and drywall.

· Install fixtures and fittings, such as handles, locks, and hinges.

· Evaluate and select materials based on quality, strength, and budgetary considerations.

· Interpret architectural designs and ensure compliance with specifications.

· Collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other tradesmen.

· Adhere to established standards for kitchen and bathroom remodelling projects.

· Source timber and other materials required for woodworking or joinery projects.

· Assess and review additional carpentry or joinery refurbishments.

· Perform finish carpentry tasks, including siding, flooring, and built-ins.

Requirements:

· Fully qualified carpenter with a recognized carpentry qualification with atleast 3 years of experience

· Enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude towards work.

· Ability to work effectively in a small team under the guidance of a project manager.

· Strong sense of ownership and the ability to take initiative.

· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
