Job Summary
The Carpenter will perform a full range of skilled carpentry work, including fabrication and/or assembly of furniture, doors, cabinets, and counter tops, as well as installation of trim and wall accessories. This role requires working under supervision using tools and materials for general carpentry, performing repairs, new installations, and preventive maintenance according to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including fabrication and assembly of furniture, doors, cabinets, and counter tops.
Install trim and wall accessories.
Assist other trades as directed and perform general maintenance tasks.
Work through emergencies and report for duty as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education degree (GED).
One to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in construction of various door systems in walls and sheet rock and suspended acoustical ceiling tiles.
Experience in mill work and floor finishing work.
