Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
Assemble furniture and cabinetry according to design specifications
Install roofing systems, ensuring proper sealing and insulation
Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures
Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to read blueprints accurately is essential
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
