Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry or painting with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to interpret schematics and blueprints, ensuring that all tasks are completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, metal studs and wallboard.
Frame carpentry for residential and commercial buildings.
Commercial & Residential painting.
Assemble and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures.
Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Perform restoration work on existing structures as needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Experience
Proven experience working in a construction site environment.
Familiarity with maintenance person tasks including plumbing and electrical work is a plus.
Proficient in using power tools and understanding of safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
