A Carpet and Duct Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing carpets, rugs, upholstery, air ducts, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, customer service, and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:

Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) (gloves, masks, goggles, etc.)
Ensure proper ventilation when using chemicals
Handle cleaning agents and equipment according to safety guidelines
Identify and mitigate hazards such as mold, dust, and airborne contaminants
✅ Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
Inspect carpets, rugs, and upholstery to determine cleaning needs
Operate professional carpet cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners and extractors
Apply appropriate cleaning solutions based on fabric type and customer requirements
Remove stains, odors, and allergens using industry-approved techniques
Ensure carpets and upholstery are dried properly to prevent mold growth
