Job Duties:
Excellent written and oral communication.
Assess the developmental level of children. Prepare progress reports.
Strong leadership skills. Responsible and independent.
Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare material, and maintain all units of study
Develop and implement daily activities for children
Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students
Classroom management
Parent communication
Enthusiastic, creative, energetic and nurturing
Ability to teach basic French to Casa students 3 hours per week
Qualifications:
Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE or AMI approved Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood
Working childcare experience at least 3 years (an asset)
Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Up to Date Immunizations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
