We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Cash & Banking Assistant! You will bring extensive experience from a previous role in accountancy or finance, ideally within a banking, purchasing, or sales setting. You’ll be working closely as a team to ensure the smooth running of our daily banking operations.
It’s a busy team and your day to day will consist of a variety of tasks including bank reconciliations, raising, recording, and posting cheques, submitting Direct Debit files, administering daily cash reports, and processing BACS/CHAPS payments.

About You
• Ideally, you have previous experience in a finance team, working within cash & banking, purchase ledger, sales ledger, or related area.
• You bring accuracy to your work by ensuring all banking transactions for the Group are processed according to our policy, within agreed timescales, and recorded correctly in the finance ledgers.
• You are confident in your ability to ensure all payments are made on time and cash is banked accurately.
• You can work to ensure that all cash transactions are processed on the ledgers accurately.
• You possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
