Responsibilities
This role is responsible for governance of local cash products (excluding Correspondent Banking product) whilst supporting Cash Product Head engaging TBFX
The role will also work with the TB Sales team on the local cash products that support flow or BAU deals.
Strategy
• Work with Cash Product Lead for Corporates on developing plan for execution of new Cash product launches or enhancements to current products/services.
• Work with Cash Product Lead for Corporates on developing processes and supporting our TBFX Service support payments and collections in foreign currencies.
Business
• Product Manager for the corporate segment supporting Cash Product in executing cash commercialisation agenda including execution of product initiatives, supporting key deals, developing local products, and driving product revenues
• Understand the dynamics of cash management business for Americas region with a view to assess market trends, identify new business opportunities or competitive threats across the region.
• Support Cash Product in driving new cash solutions, supported by client/market intelligence/ feedback
• React to new trends and technology and provide feedback to link those with current offering and impact to clients
Processes
• Adhere to the global processes around product governance ensuring full compliance with the Bank s policies procedures and regulatory framework
• Support Cash Product to deliver budget, through active management of:
• Revenue (existing and new revenue streams)
• Penetration of the product: No. of clients using the products in country
• Returns (i.e. product profitability) at a deal or client level.
Risk Management
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Builds deep and comprehensive knowledge of legal aspects linked to an instrument, debt, security in the relevant jurisdictions; local regulations and initiatives of local industry bodies to stay ahead of the regulatory change agenda and/or how it affects the solutions.
• Takes the initiative regarding regulatory, reputational and ethical matters by providing proactive advice to clients and sales teams
• Ensures adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations
• Ensure appropriate TB inputs are incorporated in Deal Review / BCA / Term sheet / Pre-Screening review / Credit
Governance
• Accountable for all product related risks for deals and solutions executed for clients
• Identifies and mitigates operational, credit, regulatory, legal, fraud and risks in a transaction.
• Evaluates current processes or solutions via a business Conduct lens.
• Ensures the relevant approvals (including compliance with relevant deal review guidelines) for a transaction or client engagement are sought and can be produced for an audit review at any point in time
• Understands compliance, AML and FCC risk and applies appropriate risk mitigation processes.
• Conducts frequent portfolio reviews to ensure the portfolio of transactions have all required approvals and all conditions of approval are met with at all points in time

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualification
• Any Cash Management related certifications, just as CTP, are a plus but not required.
