Role Overview
This is a full-time position for a Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, including processing payments, managing cash drawers, and providing accurate receipts. Additionally, the Cashier will assist customers with transaction-related inquiries and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
Process payments efficiently and accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems
Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile cash at the end of each shift
Assist customers with transaction-related queries and provide clear information
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operational processes
Requirements
Proficiency in handling cash transactions and utilizing POS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Tally and other similar software applications
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Prior experience in a cashier or related role is advantageous
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
