Purpose:
At Floor & Decor, the Cashiers serve as both the initial and concluding point of contact for customers. In order to offer excellent customer service, they must warmly greet customers, manage transactions, oversee product returns, perform basic cash office duties, and ultimately ensure that each customer leaves feeling satisfied.

• Ensure that each customer receives a polite and welcoming greeting.
• Build a rapport with customers, inquire about their upcoming projects and suggest our products, inspiring excitement in their purchase.
• Delivering exceptional customer service means going above and beyond, and ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded.
• Display an understanding of the safety procedures implemented by the organization.
• Uphold the company's core values by taking actions and conducting tasks accordingly.
• Utilize the POS system to handle customer transactions during checkout.
• Follow established protocols when facilitating customer returns and exchanges.
• Begin the process of commencing your store's operations by unlocking the cash registers and opening them up to start conducting business.
• Adhere to the pre-existing set of protocols for accepting cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Respond to incoming calls following the protocol of the organization.
• Arrange, label, and showcase goods as necessary.
• Develop labels that exhibit the prices of the products and indicate their name.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
• The eligibility age required for participation is 18 years and above
• Understanding rudimentary mathematics is essential to succeed in everyday life, such as calculating budgets and determining discounts
• Customer service experience
• There is a possibility of traveling to other outlets to provide assistance
Conditions of employment including travel and environment:
• The employee may come into contact with a warehouse setting and mobile vehicles from time to time during their job. The level of sound in the work environment usually ranges from low to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements:
