Daan Go Cake Lab is an Asian inspired Patisserie with 4 locations in Toronto, Ontario. We strive to deliver inventive desserts and push the boundaries of Asian inspired flavours and techniques to create memorable experiences for our clients.

We're looking for eager, fast-learning individuals who have a keen eye for details to join our team at our British Columbia location. We value exceptional hospitality and warm customer service. Job Summary

Take orders on POS

Answer phone calls

Greet/engage customers

Serve customers their coffee/food

Handle customer inquiries/feedback

Opening/closing duties

Keep track of inventory/cake stock

Organize/replenish food display areas

On-going cleaning throughout the store

Decorate & slice cakes for retail sale

Prepare various cake decorations

Think quickly to resolve any unexpected issues

Ensuring front of house cleanliness, including washing dishes, mopping and sweeping

Raises are common for those who are self-motivated, eager to learn, take initiative, like challenges, and perform well under pressure

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Customer service-oriented

Able to work quickly and efficiently, with a sense of urgency

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Able to learn quickly, follow directions, work clean, and be organized

Have a bright, positive attitude and a friendly, tidy image

Must be punctual and reliable

Have strong communication skills

Have a sense of tidiness/hygienic standards

Team Player

Must be able to work on weekends / holidays (if needed)

Must have a keen eye for quality assurance

Must be able to lift at least 20kg

Barista experience is beneficial

Serving experience is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
