A restaurant cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system. They are the last point of contact for customers, so a friendly and professional demeanor is essential. The role involves processing payments, issuing receipts, handling cash and card transactions, and often assisting with customer inquiries.
