Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our vibrant café team. Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure satisfaction
Manage multiple tasks including taking orders, serving food, and processing payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Assist in food preparation and food handling as needed, ensuring quality standards are met
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and cashiering techniques
Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Experience in serving beverages and food in a café or retail environment is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
