Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers interested in technology or other merchandise
Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stock levels according to company guidelines
Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent communication skills
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and checkout efficiency
Keep the checkout area organized and clean, adhering to store policies on cleanliness and safety
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles is preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly to customers
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated time management skills and phone etiquette for professional interactions
Experience in merchandising, upselling, and technical sales is a plus
Ability to work well within a team and independently as needed
