Summary
As a cashier and home health care clerk at Lakeside Medicine Centre, you will be responsible for assisting customers with home health care product selections, providing guidance on various health and wellness products, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process at the cash register.
Responsibilities
Advise customers on home health care products, including first aid, ostomy, compression, wound care and continence supplies, and other home medical supplies.
Provide personalized recommendations based on individual customer needs.
Stay informed on the latest home health care products and industry trends.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of over the counter and home health care products
Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and pharmacy system.
Assist with returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Ensure a positive and friendly experience for every customer and fellow coworkers.
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service, retail, or pharmacy settings.
Knowledge of home health care products or medical supplies is an asset
Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Basic knowledge of cash register operation and handling transactions.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
