Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Sales Associate and become a vital part of creating an engaging, energetic shopping experience for our customers! Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions with enthusiasm and professionalism
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing credit/debit payments
Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities
Maintain an attractive sales floor through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to enhance the shopping experience
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person with clear communication skills
Assist with inventory management by stocking new merchandise, conducting stock counts, and ensuring products are well-presented
Support sales goals through upselling techniques while respecting customer needs and preferences
Participate in promotional activities such as product demos or special events to boost sales during peak seasons
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations, including supervising new staff when needed
Uphold store policies and safety procedures to create a secure environment for customers and staff alike
Requirements
Previous retail sales experience is preferred; familiarity with retail or similar environments is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly
Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic retail math calculations
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
Demonstrated ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently
Ability to conduct product demos confidently while explaining features clearly to customers
Supervising experience is a bonus for those interested in leadership opportunities during the season
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, or holidays during peak times
Able to work long hours during holiday season
