Overall 8+ years' experience and Post graduation in computer science related subject. Expert in Cassandra and experience with other database toolsThe Cassandra administrator role involves setting up the cluster, optimization of the read and write data, copying data from other file systemsAdministrate, monitor secure, backup and optimize, trouble-shoot the Cassandra cluster environments in production and non-production environments. DBA should closely work with Architects, other DBAs, and development teams to design, implement and support our customers data storage and reporting systems. Understand the business requirements, execution, and present the status to stake holders.The Cassandra administrator should have good experience with various databases and tools, Hadoop and elastic search etc added advantage. Candidates should bring relational and non-relational (NoSql) expertise to help build and implement top shelf products and services.Expertise in Cassandra administration in a production environmentMust have hands-on noSQL experience from evaluation of new frameworks to deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning of clustersStrong knowledge on noSQL technology interactions and complement each other Solid understanding of noSQL landscape, Deep understanding of internals of noSQL frameworksProficiency and programming experience in one or more scripting languages including Perl, Python, ShellStrong SQL skills experienceExcellent interpersonal skills, including working with challenging and/or demanding co-workers while under pressure.Does not require training nor guidance to evaluate new frameworks Good prioritizing and time management skillsSpeed of execution, flexibility, and supportability and also To take up more challenging tasks.Agile experience and working tools like Jira/TFS
