The opportunity:
National Invasive Ant (NIAS)/Black Grass Surveillance
AsureQuality's Biosecurity team are looking for several people in regions across NZ to help deliver services that protect New Zealand against exotic pests and disease incursions.
Dates of work: Starting early December 2026 until end of March 2026, with training to be provided.
Pay: $26.23per hour + 8% holiday pay
Location: Christchurch/Canterbury Region
These casual roles will involve varying hours. This means the hours could be anything from 0 to 40 hours per week. Can only be worked during daylight hours, as these roles involve working outdoors.

Deliver biosecurity surveillance & response field services for the National Invasive Ant Surveillance programme (NIAS).
