We have a dedicated internal casual team (MetFlex) that will look after your training and development, working schedule, and work support, etc.
Permanent roles available if you want to move from the casual position.

Our stunning new Care Home, based in the heart of Kerikeri, is on the lookout for Caregivers to work casually as and when needed or available. With an already established resort-style village featuring spectacular subtropical gardens, come and join our team in Northland! We are now very excited and are seeking 'Expressions of Interest' from experienced caregivers to provide top-quality care to our residents, making them feel safe, honored, and comfortable.
There will be a range of shifts available, and you will be working in a brand-new 60-bed state-of-the-art care home with all the amenities provided to deliver outstanding care to our residents.
About the Role
We're looking for casual caregivers to join our awesome teams, supporting our clinical teams in our care homes. These roles are ideal if you want some work over the holiday period, need extra money without committing to permanent hours, or want to explore a different role while earning and learning! This could be great for someone located in or easily accessible to the area by car or public transport.
Some of the great things you will be doing:
Provide exceptional care to our residents - ensuring they feel safe, supported, and comfortable.
Work under the guidance of our registered nurses.
Work in a supportive environment in a modern care facility.

About You
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, excellent communication skills, and a good level of fitness who can work as part of a team to provide a high level of care. We are primarily seeking Level 4 caregivers but will also consider caregivers with other qualifications. Some things that will support your application include:
Careerforce qualification or equivalent will be advantageous.
Good level of fitness.
Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is highly beneficial.
Empathy and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives.
