As a Casual Cook, your passion for presentation and commitment to flavor will elevate each dining experience.
Experience working with a breakfast buffet would be beneficial.
You will maintain a pristine workspace and uphold high standards, infusing your expertise into our menu to create cherished moments.
Daily Responsibilities
You will:
Prepare meals that are both visually appealing and delicious.
Maintain strict HACCP compliance at all times.
Contribute to washing up and other kitchen duties as needed.
Take on ad-hoc duties as a true team player.
Manage kitchen supplies and equipment effectively.
Report any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents to your supervisor or duty manager.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Commercial Cookery qualification or be working towards one.
Previous experience in Teppanyaki grill preparation.
The physical strength to lift, push, and pull objects up to 23 kg, which may involve bending and kneeling.
A good understanding of reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A valid Safe Food Handling Certification.
Excellent communication skills, being warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to.
