Join our team in Events at Enterprise Dunedin and help ensure a culturally rich and enjoyable experience for our community in Ōtepoti Dunedin. We have multiple casual positions to support our event periods, available with a variety of shifts that include evenings and weekends.
The opportunity:
Do you want a casual job with a difference? One with variety and excitement, where you’ll be amongst a team delivering some of the largest events in the city?
You could be working across events such as the George Street Market, the Chinese New Years celebrations, Matariki or even supporting stadium events with city activations.
As a Casual Event Assistant, you will be responsible for helping to set up, deliver and pack down these events, as well as providing a friendly and informative welcome to attendees, ensuring the events are successful for the city.
The successful applicants will work on a casual basis. Events happen throughout the year and generally over the weekends. They aren’t too often, but when they do happen, we need a larger team who are flexible and able to help with a can-do attitude. Peak periods include February and mid-winter.
What we need from you:
A can-do attitude.
Ability to help with light labour.
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.
Provide a positive interaction to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience.
