Job Description
As part of our kitchen team your duties will include:
Performing general cooking duties (including baking and pastry making) aligned to current menus.
Provide guidance and support to kitchen hands.
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and following SOPs.
To succeed in this role we are looking for applicants who are able to demonstrate:
Essential
Completion of an apprenticeship or passed the appropriate trade test and experience in cooking, baking, pastry cooking and butchering duties.
Food Safety Handling and understanding safe food handling.
A team player, with ability to adapt and change in a growing business environment, and support others to achieve individual and business targets.
Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with online document management and auditing systems.
Understanding and knowledge of safe working processes and practices.
