Medical Receptionist
Camberwell Medical Group
Monday to Friday (8am - 6pm) Weekend Shifts available once trained.
We are looking for one or two friendly faces to join our lovely team at the front desk! If you take pride in creating a calm and welcoming experience for patients, even on their hardest days, we would love to hear from you.
Our clinic holds a 4.5 star Google rating and is located in an affluent area with excellent local amenities. On site staff parking is available. You will be supported by an experienced Practice Manager and work alongside a GP owner who is on site five days a week, with a broader team of practitioners operating across seven days.
With upcoming staff leave, we are looking for someone who can step in confidently and contribute from day one. There is genuine opportunity for growth, including future 2IC responsibilities for the right person. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a good sense of humour.
About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role will include:
Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
Booking and managing appointments
Processing Medicare and private billing
Supporting doctors and nurses with admin tasks
Keeping patient information accurate and confidential
What We’re Looking For:
No experience required – but any previous customer service, hospitality, or reception work will be highly regarded
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail and time management
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
A friendly and professional attitude
Some experience and interest digital marketing would be a massive bonus both on social media and other platforms - advertising Medigrace cosmetic services such as Botox, anti-wrinkle, and other injectables.
