OPS2 salary range $58,709 - $63,154 p.a. + super
Based at Urrbrae campus / Kaurna Country
The Opportunity
The Horticultural Assistant provides operational support to the educational programs within the – Agriculture, Water, Wine and Environment Program (AWWE).
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of horticultural machinery and equipment such as tractor with PTO powered implements, chainsaw, mowers and power tools.
Experience in general horticultural duties such as raising seedlings, striking cuttings, pruning, mowing, maintenance of garden and vegetable beds, installation and maintenance of watering systems, nursery duties, weed and garden pest control.
Ability to organise information, equipment and learning materials with a horticultural/ landscape construction industry focus in support of the educational program.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
