Billing Bureau is a boutique Melbourne CBD based software business. We regularly bid on Council and Government tenders.
Billing Bureau is seeking a tender writer with experience in preparing Local Government tender responses to assist our Bid Manager on as-needed basis. We envisage the role would require a commitment of 10 - 15 hours per month, subject to the flow of tenders. The role can be fulfilled in-office or WFH.
THE ROLE
Assist Billing Bureau’s Bid Manager on a casual basis:
In preparing tender documents and submissions
Research and gather relevant content for proposals
Coordinate with internal resources for proposal inputs
Edit and proof read tender documents for clarity and accuracy
Assist us maintain and expand Billing Bureau’s “Tender Readiness” Directory with updated and new information
SKILL SET:
Strong writing ability and communication skills (able to write grammatically without the use of software/AI)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to follow checklists (such as bid process, documentation checklists, etc)
Experience with government tenders (Local Govt, State or Federal) a distinct advantage
