Position: Category Manager ( E-commerce)
Location Head Office, Goregaon East
Reporting : Category Head/Category Leader
CTC: 6- 12 LPA
Industries: Ecommerce Industry
Educational Qualification: Graduate/ Post Graduate in Any Stream
Experience 4-8 years of relevant category and/or brand management experience
E-Commerce Category Manager / Vendor Manager
Key Responsibilities:
E-commerce Portal Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of product listings, pricing, promotions, and order fulfillment.
Vendor Management: Manage existing vendors while actively onboarding new brands to expand category offerings.
Sales & Profitability: Drive both top-line growth (sales) and bottom-line improvement (profitability) through strategic planning and execution.
Cost & Profit Analysis: Conduct regular financial analyses to identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
Order Processing: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and issue resolution.
Category Strategy: Build and manage product selection, set commercial terms, and lead pricing strategy and negotiation with vendors.
Business Planning & Communication: Develop and implement category-specific sales and marketing plans aligned with organizational goals.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Plan and manage sales budgets, track performance, and deliver against sales targets.
Promotions & Deals: Design and execute promotional campaigns and sales events to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Negotiation & Commercial Awareness: Negotiate terms and contracts with strong financial acumen to maximize value creation.
Market Positioning: Create and maintain a leading market position for the category, driving market share growth, brand loyalty, and sustainable profitability.
New Product Development (Phase 2): Support the development and launch of new product lines, ensuring unique market positioning and strategic differentiation.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
