Talent500 enables companies to hire, build, and manage remote teams with the best global talent. We are a high growth and a fast-moving organization, and plan to grow multifold year on year. The category lead role will be a key role in achieving this goal, since the person would be the complete P&L owner of the category. The individual should have both the ability to think sharply and also execute at a fast pace.
Key responsibilities:
• End-to-end ownership of a selected category (Think of yourself as the CEO of that business within Talent500)
• Ensuring market leadership of the categories under your ambit
• Understanding both the customer and the candidate side of the market
• Institutionalize a playbook to run the category starting from scratch to the finest detail
• Leveraging data driven insights to identify strategic category growth initiatives for your category
• Hiring and managing a small team of individuals who would help you build and run the category
• Work with cross functional teams to create world class onboarding,engagement & retention programs for your category
• Category level understanding ofcandidate insights/needs, preferences etc. which will provide an input for the Demand Gen team.
Requirements:
• Strategy consulting folks from top-tier consulting firms or category manager folks from startups with 4+ years of experience in consuting/category management
• Strong-willed, sharp problem solver and hands on
• Ability to build a business from scratch
