Catering and Kitchen Support Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Catering and Kitchen Support staff member to join our WellFood Department at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our catering and kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals and beverages to patients in their wards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general kitchen and ward duties, including washing dishes and preparing and presenting food.
Providing great customer service to patients and their families.
Delivering meal and beverage service to patients in their wards.
Assisting patients to understand and select menu options.
Assembling meal trays and delivering these to the wards while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Exceptional skill and passion for food and coffee.
Experience in cash management and till operations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
A friendly, positive attitude with the ability to maintain speed without compromising standards.
Reliability with good time management.
Flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude.
Previous experience in a similar environment.
