Kitchen Porter

Location: Waltham Forest College, 707 Forest Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 4JB
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 6:45am – 10:45am
Term Time Only: 36 working weeks (Total paid weeks: 40.3)
Hourly Rate: £13.85
Annual Salary (Equated): £11,163.10

What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting kitchen operations with general cleaning duties and dishwashing.
Receiving and organising deliveries and assisting with stock movement.
Carrying out basic food preparation as required by the kitchen team.
Ensuring all kitchen and back-of-house areas are kept clean and safe at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential – full training will be provided.
A strong work ethic and willingness to get involved in a variety of kitchen tasks.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Ability to follow hygiene and safety procedures consistently.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
