40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Love good coffee, working with people and work/life balance? Cater Plus is on the hunt for a passionate café assistant to join our close knit team serving the staff on site at Fonterra Research and Development Centre in Palmerston North.
To be successful in this role you will be warm and engaging with a can-do attitude and friendly nature. You will join a team dedicated to preparing and serving outstanding café style food and coffee for our customers and keep them coming back for more. With the bonus of weekends and public holidays off and no early mornings or late nights, you will have plenty of opportunity to create that ideal work/life balance.
We require someone who can:
serve beautifully crafted café style food and coffee to customers (barista experience would be an advantage),
operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile,
assist with food preparation, dishes, and cleaning,
provide support for functions,
move and manage stock, and help to keep the site running smoothly,
work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay calm under pressure,
utilise great communication skills,
enjoy working with customers and making them smile.
