Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to drive sales and business development in the catering sector. This role is ideal for professionals who want to step outside the hotel industry and focus specifically on catering services. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of catering events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Business Development:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the catering sector.
• Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other stakeholders.
• Achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the catering division.
• Client Management:
• Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts for catering services.
• Customize catering solutions based on client needs and preferences.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail.
• Event Coordination Support:
• Collaborate with the operations and event management teams to ensure seamless execution of catering events.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including menu planning, staffing, and equipment.
• Market Research & Strategy:
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the catering sector.
• Develop sales strategies to enhance market penetration and increase revenue.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare regular sales reports and track performance metrics.
• Analyze sales data to adjust strategies and maximize revenue growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-12 years of experience in sales, business development, or catering management.
• Sales Expertise: Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing a client base.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Client-Focused: Strong ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive in resolving client issues and ensuring successful event outcomes.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with internal teams to ensure event success.
