Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Job Summary
As the Catering Sous Chef at the New York Stock Exchange, you will support the successful culinary operations, focusing on catered events. This position generally works Monday through Friday between 10am and 8pm. Under your direction, the team will provide outstanding culinary experiences including.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 3-4 hourly associates
Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus, preparing and cooking various items
Execute outstanding culinary services daily
Ensure the operation is in compliance with all culinary related health and safety standards
Build internal and external client relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
Catering experience a plus
High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities
ServSafe certified - highly desirable
