Catering Supervisor & Offsite Catering Administrator

We’re seeking a highly organized and service-driven individual for a dual role that blends on-site catering supervision with administrative support for offsite events. This is a unique opportunity to lead a premium workplace dining experience while also contributing to event operations behind the scenes.
This individual will act as the site lead at a corporate client location, managing weekday lunch service and ensuring an elevated guest experience. Following on-site duties, the role supports our broader catering team with administrative coordination for offsite functions. This role reports to both the Catering Operations Manager and the Offsite Catering Coordinator.

Job Description
The Day to Day:
On-site Catering Supervisor (10am–3pm)
Offsite Catering Admin (hours as needed after 3pm)
On-Site Catering Supervisor (10am–3pm, Mon–Thurs):
Lead and oversee daily lunch service, ensuring smooth execution and high service standards
Monitor guest feedback and cuisine patterns to relay insights to the culinary and workplace teams
Track food weights and daily consumption data to support trend analysis
Ensure food presentation, signage, cleanliness, and setup meet premium standards
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols
Serve as the key point of contact between the client’s workplace team and internal catering leadership
Respond quickly to service issues with professional and proactive solutions
Foster a welcoming and positive dining environment through exceptional customer service
Offsite Catering Admin (after 3pm, hours vary):
Manage incoming event-related emails and respond or escalate as appropriate
Place beverage orders and track usage for event inventory
Create and organize event signage
Assist with team scheduling and managing uniform inventory
Maintain and update administrative tools using Excel or Google Sheets
Provide occasional support for onsite/offsite events as required within the Downtown Toronto area.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service supervision/management, workplace hospitality, or catering
Strong customer service skills with a proactive and positive attitude
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Comfortable leading service on-site and working independently
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability for occasional support outside core hours
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) considered an asset
