Role Description
We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise & Solution Architect to drive the transformation and modernization of the Client Set-up Tribe within the Corporate Bank. They ensure that the Architecture Blue Print is aligned with the Target State Architecture, utilizing the Bank's Architecture Framework (dbAF) and focusing on an optimized and efficient end-to-end technology to support the business processes. The Architect Influences the organization and the engineering community in particular to deliver solutions that comply with the Architecture Blue Print and with the Target State Architecture of the Bank. They have an advanced understanding of IT industry trends and enterprise-scale methodologies, processes, techniques and technologies for delivering effective IT solutions that achieve the target state architecture. They should have extensive knowledge and experience of industry standards for Enterprise Architecture and leverage them extensively for the definition of the Architecture Blue Print and associated solutions. They have an extensive internal and external network which they are actively leveraging to make sure the Architecture Blue Print is integrating best in class and proven solutions, aiming at providing competitive advantage to the firm. The Architect has specialist knowledge, experience and a successful track record in several, or all of the Architecture disciplines at Deutsche Bank (Corporate Business (Entitlement, Reference Data, Onboarding of clients etc), Data, Solution, Technical, and Security). They ensure that Architecture Governance is consistently and comprehensively implemented for their division. In particular, the Architect actively participates to or leads one of the CTO Architecture forums of their division or the Bank to define and adapt firm wide architecture standards, contribute to cross-divisional strategic transformational projects and foster innovation in the Bank

Your Key Responsibilities
• Creates an end-to-end architecture view of the current and future state for the domain, ensuring solutions support all lines of business across CB.
• Contributes to definition of the domain architecture road-map towards reduction of duplication and under-utilization in our infrastructure estate, building out our strategic platforms and removing legacy applications, working with stakeholders from across IT, Product and Operations teams
• Defines architecture strategies towards adoption of Public Cloud, Open API Architecture and Artificial Intelligence
• Leads architecture governance activities, including project reviews, participation in design authorities and architecture councils, contribute to cross-divisional strategic transformational projects, and foster innovation in the Bank.
• Promotes the target state architecture across the engineering community and all other stakeholder groups within and outside of the domain
• Contributes or performs deep-dive reviews of technical solutions designs produced by individual teams and advices on their improvement and ensures compliance with strategy, architecture standards and re-use of existing assets
• Guides development teams towards adoption of modern design patterns and champions use of technologies to achieve highly scalable and well supported systems
• Designs technical solutions for complex business problems
• Leverages and promotes Architecture Standards aligned with the Bank's Architecture Framework.
• Acts as a counterpart of London Leadership in India fostering the collaboration among cross location team enabling a culture of innovation and fast paced delivery mechanism in the growing Pune team
• Build /Mentor and grow high performing and innovative GA India team.
• Evaluates current GA toolsets/Business Applications and find out and implement ways to optimize them through technology or any other alternate means.
• Fostering the relationships with multiple teams using GA solutions and find out the ways to improve the overall GA solutions pattern by using new age tools and technologies
• Ensures all procedures and supporting know ledge for our Business Applications are documented for reference and that all of the members of the IT team are trained to handle any questions pertaining to the portfolio
• Supports communications between GA, users and senior managers and leadership stakeholders
Expertise Required
• 15+ years Relevant experience in IT(Development, Architecture and performing POCs on latest technologies) and Financial Services
• Broad know ledge of related Business Applications and underlying technologies involved in the marketplace
• Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders
• Knowledge of Quality Management tools and techniques
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organization
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in Indian and English (written/verbal)
• Strong Solution & Domain Architecture background, with proven track record of working in a very complex environment, high volume, low latency systems
• Experience with designing solutions in public cloud platforms (Professional architect certification beneficial)
• Up to date on modern architecture design patterns e.g. micro-services, streaming architectures, horizontal scalability, API design patterns, REST services, SOA principles, database systems, UI frameworks, enterprise integration patterns, modern SDLC practices
• Has a good understanding of Design patterns like Gang of 4 etc and has a fair understanding of zachman and Togaf.
• Passionate technologist with ability to deep dive into the code level with expert knowledge of the java ecosystem and ability contribute code in POCs, MVPs or project reviews
• Ability to work on a macro-level shaping the direction of large application portfolio, including development of domain-wide blueprints, road-maps, architecture principles and standards
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders. Ability to facilitate group sessions. Excellent communications skills, ability to respectfully challenge stakeholders think about differing options.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery.
• Excellent Analytical skills with an ability to interpret bank wide specifications into specific and effective domain requirements
• Proven history of implementing technology roadmaps and providing subject matter expertise in specific data areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to respectfully challenge stakeholders think about differing options.
• Good understanding of the Transaction Banking business. Prior experience working within Banking essential.
• Agile delivery knowledge and Goole Cloud Platform experience is an added advantage.
• A strong academic track record including the achievement of a good honour degree or equivalent.
• Strong MS-Office skills and experience with modern SDLC tools - JIRA, Sharepoint, ALM, Confluence - is a plus
• Technical Skills in the understanding of Microservices, Microfront ends, using technologies like Java Springboot, Reactjs, javascript, Nodejs.
• Handson in either of the listed technologies.
