About Commercial Banking Group :
The Commercial Banking Group is responsible for delivering One Axis to clients with a turnover between Rs. 10 Crs. to Rs.
350 Crs. by offering products and solutions around credit, forex, trade, payments, cash management and tax payments along with retail products like salary, trust services, forex, commercial card, credit cards etc.
About the Role :
The State Head is responsible for driving growth in the MEG business in designated geographical area by working with his team of RMs.
The State Head MEG ensures overall growth is achieved across key parameters without compromising on the quality of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
- Growing the MEG business for the geographical area across key metrics by working with RMs
- Maintaining and deepening the relationship with asset customers
- Ensuring new quality customers are on boarded, while maintaining the health of the existing portfolio
- Monitoring the portfolio and ensuring resolution of stressed portfolio by working with the Collections Team
- Participating in the Credit Committee discussions as a part of the sanctioning process
- Driving, training and motivating the team to achieve growth across key metrics
- Driving implementation and adoption of business initiatives
- Ensuring all activities comply with Audit and Risk guidelines
Qualifications :
Optimal qualification for success on the job is :
Graduates / post graduates with a hands-on experience of Commercial Banking and managing teams
Role Proficiencies :
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following :
- Good understanding of the MEG segment
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) skills in both English and the local language
- Understanding of Credit
- Team management skills
