Organization Description
The role is part of the Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team supporting Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Organization. F&BM team drives business management, financial analysis, vendor management, strategy, program management, training and internal communications for CCB Technology and Product organization teams across Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. CCB F&BM plays a pivotal role helping CCB Tech/Product organization shape & achieve its vision, execute its strategies and support businesses by providing information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions.
CCB F&BM Business Manager :
Business Manager is an experienced professional who manages headcount governance, budgeting and forecasting, spend governance, location strategy and executive reporting for India based teams across Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The person in this role will also have these key focus areas apart from the core BM role: supporting day-to-day business operations with a focus towards enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to align strategy and execution, and helping communicate business and product strategy and progress to leaders. They will also partner with stakeholders to establish, evolve, and track key business results/metrics. Business Manager should be proficient at managing CxO level stakeholders, working with large teams, as well as help the business run efficiently and effectively.
The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide Business Management support for CCB India (Tech/Product Organization) supporting Forecasting, Budgeting, Location Strategy, Spend governance and analytics
• Manage risk and control agenda
• Act as signing authority for all headcount and spend requests to enable budget adherence
• Manage seat utilization and allocations for all India locations ensuring efficient resource utilization
• Work closely with various support teams such as CIO office, Real Estate teams, Recruitment teams to drive key strategies
• Continually evolve the analytics and data presentations to enable fast and accurate decision making
• Assist the Tech leadership in executing initiatives and programs
• Ensure collaboration with Recruitment team on Headcount Governance(Hiring Stats, Hiring drives etc)
• Executive presence and a thought leader able to influence and advocate for their views/ideas
• Strong expertise in business strategy, strategic frameworks, qualitative and quantitative analysis
Skill sets
• 12+ years of experience primarily in Business & Stakeholder Management, Location strategy, Seat allocation, Headcount governance & Program Management
• Experience working in Financial Services/Product organization / projects is preferred, but not a must
• Ability to work across wider organization with virtual teams and across hierarchies
• Strong expertise with collaboration tools like MS Excel pivots & macros, VBA, Confluence & Sharepoint
• Ability to clearly story board executive Power point presentations
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure; Ability to prioritize requests and multi-task on time sensitive multiple requirements
• Support our agile roadmap, identifying new practices, and building new tools, capabilities, and processes to enhance operations (e.g., dashboards, automation strategies, etc.)
