Taitara Mahi - CCTV Operator
Permanent Part-time
We are looking for a CCTV Operator to join our team and help us make the Hastings, Flaxmere, Havelock North and wider Hastings district a safe and welcoming place to visit and enjoy. This role is responsible for actively monitoring our CCTV network, reporting any crime and anti-social behaviour, building and maintaining relationships with Police and our other partners, as well as abiding by relevant Privacy Act and policy requirements. The position is a permanent part time position working a minimum 16 hours a week and does involve shift and weekend work. The shift work includes Late Shifts and Night Shifts.

To be successful in this role you will:
Be a responsible and confident individual
Have excellent computer skills (previous CCTV monitoring and recording experience would be valuable – but training will be provided)
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively
Be able to remain calm in conflict situations
Be able to work under minimal supervision and display sound judgment and tact
