We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems. The CCTV Technician will work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed correctly and are operational, provide technical support, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems according to project plans and industry standards.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and make recommendations for system improvements.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Test and evaluate new technology for CCTV systems.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as safety standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role.
Technical knowledge of CCTV systems, equipment, and installation procedures.
Familiarity with electrical wiring and basic networking concepts.
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and perform tasks that may require climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification (e.g., CCTT, CST) is a plus.
Valid driver’s license.
