Job Description
We're partenered with a freight company that is seeking experienced CDL Drivers to join our team and transport freight within the United States area and surrounding regions. As a professional driver with us, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods while maintaining our commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company-owned trucks to transport freight to various destinations within the designated regional area.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies while on the road, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch to receive load assignments, update status, and report any issues or delays.
Maintain accurate records of hours of service, mileage, fuel, and expenses, using electronic logging devices (ELDs) as required.
Submit all proof of delivery items at the conclusion of each load.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL and a safe driving record
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and hours of service requirements.
Ability to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other onboard technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and work environments, including occasional overnight stays in the truck.
No DUI. Unfortunately, our insurance can not cover drivers who have a DUI in the background.
Driving record, background check, and drug test is included in the hiring process.
Background checking for theft, kidnapping, child endangerment/harm, and ****** crimes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.50 per mile
