Process Mining Consultant - Celonis
Location: Chennai, India (Hybrid)

The Global Business Services (GBS) division of a leading firm is seeking a skilled Process Mining Consultant to join their team. The Process Solutions CoE within GBS focuses on delivering data and digital services to drive efficiencies and lower costs.
The Process Mining team plays a critical role in leveraging advanced analytics to unlock processing capacity and enhance business performance. By transforming digital process data into process models using process mining techniques, they generate insights to drive process optimization.
Role Description
We are looking for a Celonis Process Mining Consultant who can independently lead process mining initiatives and contribute to business process transformation:
• Lead end-to-end Process Mining implementations using Celonis to analyze, visualize, and optimize business processes.
• Identify and integrate data sources (APIs, data warehouses/lakes), and guide teams on best practices.
• Perform ETL operations and build custom data models to uncover actionable insights.
• Design interactive dashboards and views using PQL and Celonis Studio for automation and monitoring.
• Conduct root cause analysis and address process inefficiencies using advanced Celonis functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends and enhance methodologies to maximize process mining impact.
Essential Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field.
• 3–10 years of experience in IT, Consulting, or Digital Transformation, with 1–3 years in strategy consulting.
• Proven hands-on experience with Celonis or similar tools, including dashboarding and process modeling.
• Strong SQL skills; Python and Celonis Studio Developer experience are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with functional domains like Finance or HR is a plus.
• Experience with Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-driven.
