Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Company: Cent Bank Home Finance Limited (CBHFL) Position Summary: As the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the risk management function within CBHFL. You will develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and strategies to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate various risks faced by the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide leadership in managing risks effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices. • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across different business areas, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and compliance risk. • Establish risk appetite and tolerance levels and monitor adherence to these levels throughout the organization. • Conduct regular risk assessments and stress tests to evaluate the potential impact of adverse events on CBHFL’s financial stability. • Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and the Board of Directors. • Collaborate with business units to identify and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls. • Lead the development and implementation of robust credit risk management frameworks, including credit underwriting standards, portfolio monitoring, and provisioning methodologies. • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to ensure CBHFL’s risk management practices remain effective and up to date. Qualifications and Experience: • A degree in Finance, BusinessAdministration, Economics, or a related field. Additional qualifications such as a diploma or certification in risk management are desirable. • Proven experience (minimum X years) in a senior risk management role within the financial services industry, preferably in a housing finance or banking environment. • Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and developing a team of risk professionals. • Proficiency in MS Office applications and risk management software.
