Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Child Care Centre Director to lead the Ararat Childcare & Kinder Retreat in Ararat, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of our vibrant child care Centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care services.
What you'll be doing as Manager
Provide strong leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the child care centre
Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs to support the centre's educational and care objectives
Manage and develop the centre's teaching staff, including recruitment, training and performance management
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards in early childhood education
Foster positive relationships with families, the local community and key stakeholders
Manage the centre's budget and financial reporting
Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of the centre's services
What you'll be doing as educator
Current Working with Children's Check
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma Certificates
Ability to follow, provide direction and show initiative
Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
Passionate about providing quality learning environments for children.
The ability to communicate with families and children exemplify a welcoming and positive attitude.
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma qualification.
Cert III or Diploma qualification for educator role.
Substantial experience in a management role within the child care industry, even as 2IC
Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and early childhood education best practices
Excellent leadership, people management and communication skills
Strong organisational and financial management capabilities
Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive and culturally-responsive care

Pay: $65,999.07 – $134,047.11 per year
