Job Description
We are seeking compassionate Health Care Aides to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing essential elder care and support to ensure the well-being and safety of our elders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of dementia care and nursing practices. English proficiency is highly desirable to effectively serve our elderly population. Duties
Assist elders with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
Communicate effectively with elders, families, and healthcare team members
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with health standards
Manage written records and medical documentation with attention to confidentiality
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing elder needs promptly and empathetically
Qualifications
Health Care Aide Certificate from an approved facility.
Previous Long Term Care experience an asset.
Mentally and physically able to perform responsibilities as outlined.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with other staff, Elders, families, and the public in both written and oral form.
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and professionalism in patient care settings
Pay: $20.09-$23.99 per hour
