Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Pedorthist to join our team in SUNNY WINDSOR ONTARIO Canada. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of foot mechanics and the ability to design and fit custom orthotics and footwear solutions. This role is essential in helping clients achieve improved mobility, comfort, and overall foot health. As a Certified Pedorthist, you will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members to provide exceptional care and support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot mechanics and gait patterns.

• Design, fabricate, and fit custom orthotic devices based on individual needs.

• Provide education to patients regarding foot care, proper footwear selection, and the use of orthotics.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of assessments and treatments.

• Stay updated on advancements in pedorthics and related technologies.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices within the clinic.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of foot anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology.

• Proficiency in using pedorthic equipment and materials for orthotic fabrication.

• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills to address patient needs effectively.

• Certification from a recognized pedorthic organization in Canada is required.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is considered an asset.
