Alliance Services for TBI, In-Home Care & Assistance is excited to invite certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to become integral members of our esteemed care team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential services that enable individuals to maintain their independence and comfort within their own homes. Key Responsibilities
As a licensed caregiver, you will deliver a wide array of support services, including but not limited to:
• Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
• Providing personal hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary needs
• Accompanying clients on errands and medical appointments
• Conducting light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Performing client-specific tasks as instructed by an Alliance Services nurse, including medication reminders and exercises
Required Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess:
• HHA/PCA certification
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving
• Reliability and a strong commitment to enhancing client quality of life
Qualifications
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Prior experience as a caregiver is advantageous but not mandatory; experience may be gained in various settings such as personal homes or care facilities
• A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are beneficial but not required
